What Addy saves

Your account name, email and protected password, and the tasks and events you approve, are stored so your account works and syncs. Each approved task keeps the words you wrote or spoke when you added it, so you can see where it came from. Everything belongs to your Personal or Work space.

Organising happens on your iPhone

Addy uses Apple Intelligence on your iPhone to turn your brain dump into suggestions and to reply to you. Your brain dump is not sent to any AI service. Suggestions are only saved when you choose Approve. The conversation itself stays on your iPhone and is not saved to your account.

Voice

Dictation runs on your iPhone when supported. Otherwise Apple may process the audio under its speech-recognition permission. Addy does not save recordings.

On your iPhone

Your sign-in is kept in the iPhone Keychain. Unsent drafts and saves waiting to retry are kept in protected storage on the device.

Email

Addy only emails you when you ask to reset your password. Resend delivers those emails.

Hosting and analytics

Vercel hosts Addy's service and Turso stores the database in Ireland. They process the data needed to run Addy and operational details such as network requests. Addy uses no analytics, advertising trackers or advertising identifiers.

Retention and deletion

Addy keeps your data until you delete your account. In the app, open Settings → Delete account and confirm with your password. This removes your account and every task and event in it straight away. If you can't sign in, email the address below from your account email.

Backups for recovery may hold earlier copies until they are rotated: up to 30 rolling backups, plus the database provider's short-term recovery. Contact us to erase backups, or for help accessing, correcting or exporting your data.
